Russian cypress is a hardy, low growing evergreen for sun or shade. This new selection offers superior disease resistance and winter colour. Celtic Pride's green foliage turns an attractive russet color in winter. This is an excellent, very cold-hardy plant with better shade tolerance than junipers that will grow to as much as 2 feet high by 5 feet wide.

Discovered in Poland from a naturally occuring mutation of Emerald Pyramidal Cedar, this hardy tapered evergreen cedar is striking with its bright amber-yellow foliage that becomes a warmer amber tone during winter, hence the name 'Jantar' (Polish for amber). With the same narrow upright habit as its popular green parent this selection adds dramatic colour to the landscape as a focal plant or privacy screen.
