This azalea delivers bright, gorgeous colour on a winter-hardy plant! Two-tone blooms are awash in rich colour that adds depth and beauty to butterfly gardens. This particular cultivar is a very strong pollinator lure, urging butterflies and bees by the hundreds to visit the landscape during the long mid spring to early summer bloom time. Grows to 4 ft. tall and 5 ft. wide. Best in full sun to part shade.

This beautiful slow-growing conifer bears blue-green needles that are soft to the touch. Its compact size makes it a great specimen plant for small gardens as it only grows 2-3 ft. tall and wide. Unlike most conifers, this one turns lovely shades of orange before it drops its needles for the winter. Best in full sun.

This guy stands out! With its handsome dark green needles and tall slender form, this spruce makes for a great exclamation point in the landscape. Growing 25-50 ft. tall and 6 ft. wide in full sun, planting a number of these spruces together would create a rich, evergreen hedge that is tall but narrow or use alone as a focal point for all to admire.

This interesting, cascading white pine has a compact form with draping branches and long two-toned needles – strongly resembling a sea-green waterfall! Growing wider than tall at 4-6 inches a year, it could reach 4 ft. wide and 3 ft. tall after 10 years. A perfect specimen to use as a cascading garden accent in a rock garden! Best in full sun.

This is a dwarf selection of dawn redwood with bright, cheery colorful foliage on a small scale. Its lush, deciduous foliage is variegated and variable depending on sun exposure. In settings with full sun, yellow hues will dominate, while is a shadier area, the variegation will be creamier. As winter approaches, the foliage will turn a nice russet brown before being shed. In spite of it all, the waxy, fine, ferny foliage makes for quite the impression in the garden. It grows 5 to 6 feet tall by about the same wide, at a very slow rate.

The glossy dark green foliage on this compact 3-4 ft. shrub makes for lovely winter interest. Growing best in full sun to part shade, it should be planted on moist, but well-drained acidic soil and protect from drying winter winds.
