This fairly fast growing, upright conical type of Sawara cypress has bright gold foliage that grows as a mix of short sprays, thread-leaf and contorted branchlets. Requiring full sun, the degree of colour is quite variable. After 10 years, a mature specimen will reach 7.5 ft. tall and 4 ft. wide, at an annual growth rate of 8" or more. This vigorous grower benefits from periodic shearing to maintain tidiness.

All it takes is one look at this irresistible blue evergreen to fall in love! Covered in soft, feathery foliage, this fantastic false cypress matures to 15-20 ft. in a narrow column only 5-6 ft. wide. It grows well in part to full sun, but requires superb drainage and will not tolerate sites where standing water occurs. Rarely requiring pruning, it works well as a dramatic specimen or can be grouped together as a narrow hedge.

This Evergreen Azalea is draped in stunning clusters of lightly-scented pink trumpet-shaped flowers with rose overtones and wavy edges in mid spring before developing its dark green leaves. Although hardy, it does require rich, acidic, evenly moist well-drained soil to thrive. Best in sun or part shade, it matures to 5 ft. tall and wide and benefits from a thick mulching to protect roots in winter.

|
This hardy deciduous azalea has frilly bold pink blossoms with a dark orange blotch in late May, followed by green leaves. It blooms in mid to late spring and will grow to 3-1/2 ft. tall and 2-1/2 ft. wide in 5 years with a moderate growth rate. It requires a loamy, acidic soil and does best in a partially shaded, sheltered location.

Don't underestimate this cedar! Nicknamed 'Full Speed A Hedge' for good reason, this sport of ‘Hetz Wintergreen’ is prized for its very rapid growth rate, dense branching structure, and its tall, narrow habit that requires minimal pruning. Reaching 25-30 ft. at full maturity, it remains only 3-5 ft. wide. Best in full sun and moist, well drained soil, it has incredible potential to provide a rapid-growing dense screening. ** smaller plants available only

This 'itty-bitty' globe-shaped charmer grows in a free branching, yet compact and bushy habit. Its yellow green juvenile foliage is quite soft to the touch, maturing to bronze in the fall and winter. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 10 inches tall and wide in full sun. This is a 'must have' for every small garden!

Our Emerald Cedar has a radical new look! Instead of the rich green foliage you expect, it surprises you with a burst of year-round bright lemon yellow on a narrow, conical plant. Best in full sun or part shade, it grows 8 ft. tall and 3-4 ft. wide in ten years, ultimately reaching 20 ft. tall and 4-5 ft. wide. Thriving in summer heat with regular watering, this sassy plant can be used as a specimen or as a dramatic hedge!

|
This is the first true dwarf Emerald Pyramidal Cedar - a much more compact and smaller variety than its popular parent. Best in full sun, it grows 6 ft. tall but only 2 ft. wide with a symmetrical, pyramidal habit and is covered in glossy green flat lacy sprays of foliage. Thriving in summer heat with regular watering, this variety can be used as a small scale, formal hedge or specimen.

Dramatic merlot-red, ruffled blooms emerge on a neat, mounded plant in May. Deep red flowers against glossy, dark green foliage create a show-stopping explosion of colour in your landscape! Growing 5 ft. tall and wide, it does best in partial shade with well-drained acidic soil. Protect from drying winter winds.

Trusses of salmon pink blooms with wavy edges and a pale yellow throat emerge on a large, robust plant in mid-spring and contrast with dark green foliage. Growing 5 ft. tall and wide, it does best in partial shade with well-drained acidic soil. Protect from drying winter winds.

This unusual rhododendron gets it's name not from the long lasting rose-purple early spring flowers - but from the small leaved, compact structure of thick dark evergreen foliage that takes on dramatic purple-black tones in cool weather! Growing 3 ft. tall and wide, it does best in partial shade with well-drained acidic soil. Protect from drying winter winds.

Related to Rhodos and Azaleas, this new compact plant is covered with cascading ruby-red clusters of charming bell-shaped flowers that resemble hundreds of tiny glowing lanterns against an evergreen backdrop. Long lasting flowers are followed by new-growth foliage blushed red on red stems. Quite shade tolerant, it does best in moist, acidic, well-drained soil and will grow 3-4 ft. tall and wide.
