Sharpleaf Norway Spruce Known for its unique display of brown buds on stiff thick dark green shoots, this evergreen specimen forms an irregular yet compact mound with one leader and several sub leaders. Growing very slowly, it could reach 3-5 feet high and 2-4 feet wide in 10 years. It is tolerant of all types of well-drained soil, and it grows best in full sun. |

Sander's Dwarf Blue Spruce Similar to Dwarf Alberta Spruce, this absolutely beautiful cone-shaped evergreen bears soft new bright blue needles in the spring which deepen to blue green by summer. It makes an excellent specimen evergreen for the shrub border. It grows extremely slowly in full sun, reaching 30-36 inches in about 10 years. Although it is a cold hardy plant, it is best protected with burlap if exposed to the northwest winter winds. |
Pyramidal Norway Spruce If an accent plant for a small property or a strong vertical evergreen to use in a row planting is required, then this new columnar variety of Norway Spruce is an ideal choice. It grows at a moderately fast rate of about 12 inches per year to 12-15 ft. tall. What's more, its tight habit allows it to better withstand snow loads than most other columnar spruce varieties. Grows best in full sun to light shade. |
Blue Nest Spruce This dwarf nest-like variety of has a very compact tight form with dark bluish-green foliage. It is a compact plant that is well suited to rock gardens or foundation plantings, and is best planted in sun or light shade. Minimal pruning is required. |
Pumila Globe Spruce This dwarf globe-shaped form of Norway Spruce bears blue-green needles on branches that tend to point all straight up. It grows slowly in a rounded upright habit up to a height of 4 feet tall and wide, and tends to grow best in partial shade. A unique accent specimen or as an informal compact hedge. |
Angelica Blue Juniper This new fast growing spreading juniper has fine, bright feathery blue foliage in a compact spreading form. An excellent drought tolerant ground cover evergreen, it could reach 4-6 feet wide and 3 feet high and does best if planted in full sun. It is very hardy and is an excellent tough plant in the landscape. |

This plant is a perfect evergreen for the dry and/or shady corner of the garden. Moss Japanese False Cypress Possibly one of the most intriguing plants we have, this unique open bodied selection is covered by feathery bluish-green foliage with protruding irregular shoots that often have bizarre growing tendencies. It can be left to grow naturally, or prune into any desired shape - it is an excellent plant for the creative mind wanting to experiment with the making of topiary plants. It grows 3 to 4 inches per year in sun or part shade and could ultimately reach a height and width of 5 feet. |
Bristlecone Pine This rare yet hardy dwarf pine is considered a species that is one of the longest lived on earth, with many of its relatives documented to be as old as 5000 years. In addition to its distinctive irregular, picturesque habit and decorative brown 3-1/2 inch cones, its longevity is due to its dense resin filled wood being able to fend off insects and disease. The branches are covered by tight bunches of green needles with white resin dots (often mistaken for insects) that are scattered randomly on the needles. Growing 1-2 inches per year in sun, it is a true tree for the 'next generation'. |
