Why A Grobe Rose? 
It all starts with the roots.
Far too many roses sold today are grown on imported rootstock which originate in milder countries. A Grobe rose is grown on a unique multiflora rootstock, cultivated in Ontario for Ontario climates. This rootstock has been time proven to be Canadian winter hardy, and gives excellent results - year after year. Additionally, cuttings don't propagate unwanted viruses which reduce hardiness and performance.

Careful harvest, storage and culture ensures quality.
Unique to our roses, at harvest time the leaves are allowed to come off the plant naturally - not with mechanical or chemical defoliators. A rapid chilling and careful storage at -2 degrees Celsius virtually eliminates all fungal disease, and at the same time satisfies the plant's dormancy.
We carefully root prune every rose prior to potting, to ensure strong root regeneration. A specially formulated season lasting slow release fertilizer is included with every plant. Careful monitoring, morning only waterings, regular deadheading and plant spacing ensures the cleanest and healthiest rose possible, no matter when you visit.
