THORNDALE ENGLISH IVY
Hedera helix 'Thorndale'
This versatile self-clinging evergreen vine has maple leaf shaped dark green leaves with prominent white veins. It is an excellent groundcover or it will cling to a low support. Will tolerate sun but does best in shade.
CLIMBING HYDRANGEA
Hydrangea petiolaris
This handsome dark green leafed vine clings firmly to walls and is covered in early summer with large white flat clusters of flowers. Will grow slowly 12 to 15 feet tall in part to full shade. Support when young.
ROSE SENSATION JAPANESE HYDRANGEA VINE
Schizophragma hyb. 'Rose Sensation'
A deciduous, vigorous climbing, clinging vine that can climb up walls, trees, fences and anything else that stands still long enough. This species has an early-summer display of delightful buttery soft-pink petals that are nothing short of magnificent. They start deep pink and rather small and over the course of a week or so seem to slowly inflate to their full extent as they fade to a softer hue.
WHITE JAPANESE HYDRANGEA VINE
Schizophragma alba
It is hard to say which is the most striking feature of this climbing vine! Large heart-shaped steel blue leaves are strongly dissected with a network of light green veins. Then in July, big white flowers appear and provide dramatic contrast. Growing easily to 20 ft. tall, it does best in moist, well drained soil when partially shaded from the hot afternoon sun.

Be prepared...the hummingbirds will find it from miles around!
MAGNOLIA VINE
Schisandra chinensis
This deciduous, woody, twining vine grows much like clematis with more vigour. Rambling nicely through its neighbors, it grows to 15 ft. or more. It bears large white peony-like blooms followed by clove-tasting edible berries if male and female plants are both present. Like clematis, it requires shady roots and dappled sun for leaves. Also known as Five Flavour Berry Vine. Sex of each plant is undetermined, but our best guess is that they are hemaphroditic.
