 Newest Shrubs
Bailey Compact Amur Maple

Bailey's Compact Amur Maple is an excellent larger shrub for screening or as a striking fall feature in the garden. This compact variety grows about half the size of a traditional Amur maple to 7 to 9 ft. tall by about 8 ft. wide in sun or part shade. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution, extreme cold and adapts to both dry and moist conditions. The smaller maple leaf shaped green foliage turns outstanding shades of orange and in the fall.

Pugster Blue Butterfly Bush

The Pugster® series of butterfly bushes are characterized by their short, stocky frame coupled with their large, full sized flowers. The thick, heavy stems ensures better winter survival compared to most small butterfly bush. Pugster Blue butterfly bush offers true blue flowers with a very sweet honey fragrance, and is sized to be used in any sunny garden.

Silverado Hybrid Olive

Bred in Western Canada, ‘Silverado’ was created as a sterile cross between Russian Olive and Wolf Willow, and as such can be considered non-invasive. It is a smaller, more improved and compact version of Russian Olive that grows only 10 ft. tall and wide in 6-8 years. It features silver-gray foliage which will introduce a lighter tone to any garden, significantly reduced suckering habit and is very tolerant of salt and drought. Excellent as a screening plant, it also tolerates intense sun or partial shade.

Winecraft Black Smoke Bush

This stunning new elderberry is prized for its golden foliage that maintains its brilliance from spring to fall, narrow shape and compact size. Growing 7-9 ft. tall and only 4 ft. wide in full or part sun, it requires little pruning. Fragrant white flower clusters appear in early summer, followed by glossy black berries to attract birds to your garden in autumn. It will thrive in any moist, rich soil whether exposed or sheltered!

Honeybee Southern Bush Honeysuckle

This plant is a magnet for honey bees and butterflies with its clusters of yellow flowers in late spring and summer! A tough and tolerant shrub for sun with golden foliage, it will be greener if located in a more shaded condition. Growing only 30-32 inches tall, it spreads to 40 inches wide and thrives on neglect once established. It's leaves turn a striking red/orange colour in fall.

Magical Gold Forsythia

Proven to be hardy to Zone 4, it is the most wilt resistant Endless Summer variety yet! It blooms on both old and new wood.

Hydrangea Invincibelle Mini Mauvette

This remarkable re-blooming mauve-violet hydrangea is a new twist in the family of hydrangeas that include the popular Annabelle. Hydrangeas of this family are known for their hardiness and reliable blooming character, and this one has these qualities too, but the unique colour and compact form are distinctive. It also features strong stems that will support the weight of these beautiful blooms, dark green leaves and better yet, it blooms on both old and new wood! Easy to grow, it will reach 3-5 ft. tall in sun or partial shade.

Hydrangea Let's Dance Blue Jangles

This big leaf variety is a re-blooming hydrangea that really does! Blooming on both old and new wood, but unlike many others that do it grows 12-24” tall and 24-36” wide in morning sun or part shade with a tight, compact habit. Large, full flower heads will readily go heavenly blue in acid soils; in alkaline soils, they'll be vivid pink. Prune only dead wood after the new growth has emerged. Ideal for border planting or for use as a specimen.

Scentlandia Sweetspire

Sweetspire is beloved for so many reasons! Not only is it fabulously fragrant, it is deer resistant, has handsome foliage and showy flowers, then ends the autumn with an intense red foliage display! Scentlandia is the hardiest variety of Sweetspire yet and with it's 2-3 ft. tall and wide habit, it can be used in many locations. It tolerates sun or shade and is very adaptable to most soil types.

Double Play Doozie Spirea

This hardy spirea is better than great - it's a doozie! Seedless and non-invasive, it is the most beautiful, innovative, ground-breaking spirea to ever grace a landscape.
